How do I connect my Slack workspace?
After cloning the template, click on the Slack node and select 'Connect Account'. You'll be redirected to Slack to authorize the connection. Once connected, select the channel where you want notifications to appear.
Can I customize which form fields are included in the Slack message?
Yes! The 'Format Message' node uses variables like {{trigger.name}} and {{trigger.email}}. You can edit these to include any fields from your form, rearrange them, or add custom text and formatting.
What happens if a form submission has an invalid email?
The workflow includes a validation step that checks if the email contains an '@' symbol. Invalid submissions are sent to a separate #errors channel so your team can follow up, while valid submissions go to your main channel.
Can I send notifications to multiple Slack channels?
Absolutely! You can duplicate the Slack action node and configure each one to post to a different channel. You can also use conditions to route different types of submissions to different channels.
Is there a limit to how many form submissions this can handle?
The workflow can handle thousands of submissions per day. Each submission is processed individually in real-time, so there's no batching delay. For very high volumes, you may want to consider rate limiting on your form.
