Connect Your First Integration

Integrations connect your workflows to external services. This guide walks through connecting Slack.

Available Integration Types

  • Built-in plugins - Pre-configured services (Slack, Google, Notion, etc.)
  • API imports - Add any REST API via OpenAPI or curl
  • Custom plugins - Build your own integrations

Step 1: Open Integrations

  1. Click Plugins in the sidebar
  2. Browse available integrations
  3. Or use the search to find "Slack"

Step 2: Connect Slack

  1. Click on the Slack plugin
  2. Click Connect
  3. You'll be redirected to Slack's authorization page
  4. Select your workspace
  5. Click Allow

You'll be redirected back with Slack now connected.

Step 3: Use in a Workflow

  1. Create or open a workflow
  2. Add an action node
  3. Select Slack from your connected integrations
  4. Choose an action like Send Message

Configure the Action

  • Channel: Select from your Slack channels
  • Message: Type your message or use variables
  • Advanced: Add mentions, attachments, or formatting

Managing Connections

View and manage all your connections:

  1. Go to Settings > Integrations
  2. See all connected services
  3. Click a connection to:
    • Test the connection
    • Refresh credentials
    • Disconnect

Troubleshooting

Connection Failed

If authorization fails:

  1. Check your permissions in the external service
  2. Try disconnecting and reconnecting
  3. Ensure pop-ups aren't blocked

Token Expired

OAuth tokens refresh automatically. If issues persist:

Some actions require additional permissions:

  1. Check the action's required scopes
  2. Reconnect with the needed permissions
